Employee Spotlight

Integrated Dealer Systems is proud to feature Ben Raines, System Implementation Consultant, in the Employee Spotlight. 

Ben is already known by many customers for the educational multi-media training sessions he puts together for the IDS Parts Inventory Scanners. “I enjoy helping the customers with the new technologies to help improve their parts inventory” said Ben, when asked about the most rewarding part of his job. Ben who been working with IDS for a little over 1 year, has previously done training for service center management programs in automotive service centers. His experience in this area gives him a great understanding of what actually goes on in the service department. This allows Ben to recognize and better adapt the training that he does for the Astra dealer management system and the wireless scanners. He has also been busy working on the latest interactive Adobe training sessions for the some of the newest updates to the wireless scanners, including software upgrades, adding purchase order receiving, cycle counts, and the ability to do a vehicle inventory count. Additionally, when a wireless scanner system is purchased, Ben is usually the one to travel to the dealership to make sure installation is completed successfully.

Ben, who is based out of the Saint Petersburg office, is an important piece of the IDS puzzle. Because of his work with the wireless scanners and his distinctive type of experience, dealerships are able to improve efficiency and profitability in their service departments with relative ease!
